About the Role

AI Delivery Manager
As an AI Delivery Manager you will be responsible for acquiring a deep understanding of customer needs and intuitively map these to underlying AI/NLP technologies that may be the tentative building blocks for a solution. A sound understanding of AI/NLP technologies, in particular transformer based architectures is vital to succeeding in this role. It is further expected that you will stay abreast of the key developments in AI and NLP by reviewing publications and by participating in technical workshops and internal discussion forums.

You will be expected to manage customer engagements and as needed lead roadmap development, market research, readiness assessment, requirements specification, project plan and other relevant product/solution documentation. A key aspect of your role will be to work closely with cross-functional teams and coordinate business and technical readiness decision making with the company leadership.

You will be expected to oversee customer engagements from initial needs assessment to solution delivery. A strong grasp of the solution development life cycle is therefore essential for this role. As the engagement lead you will serve as the primary contact for clients. A critical need for the role is the ability to plan and control project workstreams, foresee critical path dependencies including change requests, and initiate timely action to mitigate failure risk while managing customer expectation.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or engineering with a focus on language processing.


  • 4 or more years of experience in a role responsible for managing technical projects, preferably in health-tech consulting.

  • Experience interfacing with senior leadership

  • Sound understanding of artificial intelligence and NLP components that are deployed in enterprise information retrieval solutions. A conceptual understanding of transformer based architectures.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, storytelling and communication skills and ability to convey/translate complex technical concepts to senior executives

  • Familiarity with industry standards & best practices.


  • Excellent organization, presentation, written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills. Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
