About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Cloud & IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing private cloud VM environments, particularly those on Ubuntu Server, as well as experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP. The role involves maintaining and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation of services, and providing technical support to internal teams.
Responsibilities
* Cloud Management:
* Administer, configure, user management, and maintain virtual machines on private cloud environments.
* Manage and optimize cloud services / resources on AWS, GCP, and other cloud platforms.
* Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, implement best practices for cloud security, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
* IT Support:
* Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud-related issues to internal teams.
* Handle incident management, problem resolution, and root cause analysis for cloud services.
* Assist with the deployment and maintenance of software applications in the cloud environment.
* Collaboration and Documentation:
* Work closely with Miimansa Research and Solutions teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud services.
* Document cloud architecture, configurations, and procedures for internal reference and training purposes.
* Train and mentor junior IT staff on cloud management and best practices.
Requirements
Qualifications Minimum Required Skill Set
Proficiency in Linux (Ubuntu Server) administration.

Familiarity with cloud automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet).
Understanding of networking concepts and cloud security best practices.
Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
Additionally
Bachelor’s degree in a related area
2-3 years of relevant experience

* AWS Certified Solutions Architect
* Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
* CompTIA Cloud+
* Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC)
